    Soups and stews

I'm happy to eat soup any time of year, but admit to feeling a little gleeful when the leaves start to drop and the weather gets colder. It means soup season has truly arrived.

Why is soup season exciting? Because soups and stews make it so easy to eat all your daily serves of vegetables, and in the words of my eldest daughter, they're like a hug in a bowl.

I'm very partial to a restorative broth or more substantial soup as dinner, while one of my favourites is this autumnal cauliflower soup.

Enjoy these vegan soups and stews any time you need a hug in a bowl.
